INTRODUCTION

Mastering the English Language becomes essential in the corporate world this century.  Malaysia being a plural society is emphasizing on English as the second language. To be competitive in this globalize era, is to be able to master a universal language and English is the language. Just having the ability to speak a language is not good enough. In the corporate world, formality becomes a norm and written communication is the norm.

 

Many do not know that writing is actually a skill. Writing in English is a skill that can be learnt. It is a skill that can be acquired by doing and practicing it. No amount of reading, or absorbing advice and guidance from gurus can substitute for practice. This program has incorporated both advice and practice. We believe that everyone can learn to speak and write well. Most of us, in reality, are better in writing than we fear. We do have a basic storehouse of skills. The resources of effective writing are in us. This program sets out to make us to use these skills in a conscious manner, thus making us an effective communicator.
